Our Assistants at Thomasville Animal Hospital work hard to help our entire team and make sure everything from minor checkups to major procedures run smoothly!

Sara Halpin

Sara is from Monticello, FL and joined our team in 2016. Sara comes to us with 13 years of animal health experience. She loves to spend her free time with her family- her husband, Justin, their beautiful daughter, Ava, as well as their playful Labrador, Watson. Her hobbies include fitness and fishing. Can you find Sara with a warm smile on her face.

Ashley Strickland

Ashley has worked with animals, volunteering at shelters and veterinary hospitals, since age twelve. She spent nine years as a veterinary assistant before coming to TAH in 2013. During that time she completed coursework toward a bachelors degree in biology at both VSU and ABAC. Ashley loves to spend time outside of work with her Great Dane, Diesel, and horse, Boo. She also loves to travel and cheer for the Georgia Dawgs, as well as hunt and fish.

Born and raised in California Nika came to Georgia a year and a half ago.

She has always had a love for animals ever since she was a little girl.

She has been in the animal field since 2012 and continues to love what she does

She has a shih-poo named Bentley and she absolutely loves spending time with her 3 children and husband.

Caroline Unglaub

Caroline Unglaub was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, and joined our team in December of 2019. Her love for animals developed at a very young age. She was fortunate enough to have horses growing up and expresses her gratitude to the horses that have touched her life along the way. After high school, life took her down a different path and into the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves. Caroline is still an active member of the Reserves and serves as a Boatswain’s Mate at U.S. Coast Guard STA Panama City. In addition, to her Coast Guard duties, Caroline is a senior at Florida State University. She will graduate this summer with her B.S. in Political Science. In her free time, Caroline enjoys anything outdoors related, and most importantly spending time with her horse Levi and her dogs, Cole and Calvin. Caroline is always eager to help and looks forward to serving you and your four-legged friends in the Equine Department!

Chelsey Whitemore

Chelsey has been grooming since 2013 and truly enjoys what she does. She was born and raised in Tampa, FL. She moved to Tallahassee earlier this year from Panama City. She has two pomeranians of her own, Tink and Takoda. She loves being active and spending time with her family, especially her husband Scott and her newborn son Preston.
